Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. -Ralph Waldo Emerson
I am a firm believer that there is a solution to every problem, whether or not we choose to see it. And this is what blazing your own trail is about. There may be bumps, bruises, tears, laughter, upheaval, cleansings, decluttering, loss, and virtually any emotion in the human spectrum. Then what most always comes is Peace. When you move in the direction of your truth, the only limitation we experience are self imposed. It’s wonderful to have people in your life to remind you when you are denying your own abilities or when you lack appropriate faith in yourself. I had a conversation with a wonderful stylist and a fantastic friend Marilyn who is an example of a true friend who does not tell you want you WANT to hear, but instead provides wisdom from different angles allowing one an opportunity to open to many solutions. I appreciate that because that is EXACTLY what I do!
I recently read that “Nothing in the universe is against us, only ourselves.” That resonated with me deeply because with all the things one might believe is not possible or unavailable or likely or easy, in truth there is nothing keeping us from blazing our own trail. What stops you? Fear? So then I ask, what is fear? What is at the root of fear? A belief that you aren’t adequate? A thought that you will fail? Or maybe the fear you WILL succeed? Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. What is real is that nothing is blocking you from success. Will it be easy? Well, easy is a matter of perspective. As you are paving the way what you CAN expect is support, excitement, fulfillment and the exhilaration of a goal accomplished!
